    New to Reptiles. Hello!

I thought I may as well make a bit of an introductory post now, before I forget entirely. Which, knowing me, is very probably. Anyway, I've always been interested in reptiles and their husbandry, but up until now it's been merely a dream to own a snake/lizard/tarantuala/you get the picture. You see, my parents were not quite so thrilled about snakes and other reptiles as I was, and they were good enough to put up with my fishkeeping. They drew the line at terrestrial vertebrates though.

As for ball pythons specifically, my interest in them really bloomed about a year ago when I saw a bumblebee. Super beautiful, super docile, and I was hooked. Since then I've been drooling over the many bp morphs online, and visited a local reptile show (killed me that I couldn't bring anything living home. But I bought a nice book to keep me happy). And at some point I found this site and started lurking.

More to the point, I'll be moving out this winter (for school) and the deal was once I'm out on my own, all bets are off as far as pets are concerned. Not really. Starving animation student restrictions apply. So now seems like a good time to continue stocking up an all care information on ball pythons that I can!

    Some info about myself:
I'm a 19 or something there about girly from AB, Canada.
Have kept many types of freshwater fish, though know I'm down to my two betta males (a copper HM plakat and a black/red butterfly delta) and my ever goofy trio of fancy goldfish.
Some sort of poor excuse for an artist who is shipping herself off to Animation school this winter.
    Unaccountably silly.

Thanks! I cannot wait until I can bring one home! I'll probably hold out for a bumblebee female, should I ever entertain the thought of breeding in the future.
