I am trying to start a feeder population. I tried mice in aquariums, but just can't keep up with my 10 snakes. I bought a 1.5 group of asf's from a reptile show. I decided against starting to feed them because my snakes eat so well. I don't want to create a picky eater. I am going to keep the afs going, just in case I ever get one. (And because they are cute and friendly LOL) I finally talked my handy boyfriend into making me a rodent rack. He made me two 6 tub racks!!! Last week we decided to start getting rats. We went to 2 different pet shops that bred their own and purchased a 2.4 and .4 group of small rats. We decided yesterday to fill a few more tubs. So we went to another pet shop that had a rat colony and hit the jackpot!!! He sold me 3 proven females that were accidently bred by their brother. One of the females had a litter of 12. I also bought 3 of their babies because they were dumbo eared and one was also a rex, and I love genetics. I hope this will cut back on my food billHere are some pictures!
The rack! (I have not made a watering system yet)
I also have not decided what to do in the winter. They are in my garage, and I live in Ohio.

This friendly little guy does not have a name yet, but he meets me at the end of the tub every day and begs for food!
