Irritating corn!
Another food refusal coupled with her really cruising her cage. She ate last week, no problem. Here lately she's been really active and has started pushing on her tank cover. I've owned her since August of last year. At the show they had her in with two males.
I'm fairly inexperienced with cornsnake breeding, but is there anyway that she could have been bred and kept the sperm for later (I swore I read somewhere that it's possible)? From my understanding, females get really restless before laying. However, I have no idea what a gravid female looks like. She seems the same to me. I'm not running any heat for her right now since It gets up into the 80s during the day and the lower 70s at night.
Hopefully, I'm just worrying for nothing and she's getting plenty of exercise.

Re: Irritating corn!
Can you post some pics of her? And maybe a pic of her set up?
There is always a good chance for retained sperm, or she could also being laying a clutch of non-fertilized eggs. I have a female that was not bred at all this year give me a clutch from retained sperm.

Re: Irritating corn!
The set up is nothing special. Hide on the left side, waterbowl in the middle. Right side had the UTD. She moved from side to side accordingly. She's had this set up since late december. The only difference from then is now is that I moved her hide off the UTD (had the hide on there since my room gets cooler in the winter). However, the hide has been moved since march, at least. I'll see about pictures.

yeah, they can be irritating!
one of the most important things I've learned about having animals is the phrase "don't freak out!" if you snake ate recently, you should be good. i have had one of my corns go for almost a month as he will not eat when he's going to shed.
your female looks like she could be gravid from the width of her up to her tail. when my female got knocked up, she looked like she had put on alot of weight and the became almost lumpy.
good idea to keep the heat off her if its that warm in the cage. just keep an eye on her coloring and the condition of her scales. if she starts up with any new symptoms, then you might want to do some research or find a vet.

Keep in mind that snakes can retain male semen for up to a year or more.
Corns are notorious for laying maternal eggs without ever being bred. its just part of maturity which ive encountered once with a 250g female that laid 8 slugs, that was never bred. What you describe is what this female did week before laying the slugs.

I don't know much about Corns, but she is HUGE in her tail area. I believe she may be gravid actually, can we get some more photos of the last 2/3 of her body?

Re: yeah, they can be irritating!
She developed the width at her tail a couple months after I got her. I assume it's because I feed her weekly. I wouldn't be surprised if she needs to lose a little bit of weight.

Best I could do at the moment. She's actually not cruising and sitting still.

Re: Irritating corn!
Well, I cut a hole in the bottom of a square gallon ice cream box and put it upside down with the lid on the bottom. I also put in some bedding so she wouldn't be on straight plastic. She immediately went to investigate it. Slithered around it before making her way in. Right now, she's partially in it, partially draped over it, and examining her new higher up surroundings.
