Accu-Temp 6000 Reptile Incubator - Digital Reptile Incubator

I'm just wondering if anyone has used the Accu-Temp 6000 Reptile Incubator - Digital Reptile Incubator for hatching ball python eggs? I would like to hear all feedback from anyone who knows any thing about them.

    Thanks!

I used the Repti-pro 5000 (same exact thing, literally) I found it too small. You can't even fit a 6 quart shoebox.
If you get one hope you don't get any big clutches.
I got my up for sale because I don't wanna hope for small clutches

You can get the same thing for waaaayyy less here:

    http://www.thinkgeek.com/homeoffice/gear/6ad2/

It is the exact same item. The picture on the link isn't the actual model you will receive, the one you get looks just like the ones being sold for reptiles. I bought one and it's great, works very well for my Rhacodactylus. I'm sure it would be fine for Ball Pythons but it is a tad too small for a 6 qt container. I found a more square container for food storage at Walmart that fits perfectly and you can fit 2-3 of those in there. So it would work for Balls if you can find a fitting container and your girl doesn't lay a giant clutch.

Thanks, I really appreciate the link, I'd probably go with that one instead. Does the one from this link still have a good viewing window, and hold temperatures and humidity well? I'm going to have some important clutches in there, so I wouldn't want anything to go wrong.

    Yep, here is mine:

The temp fluctuates a little bit but it isn't anything that'll risk your eggs.

How many clutches are you hoping to produce in the next couple of seasons?

I will take suggestions on other incubators too, I don't want anything unreliable though, I will have a few very important clutches.

If you want something reliable build your own. A free fridge, some flexwatt and a good t-stat and you're all set.

Not to mention those store bought ones will not hold 4-5 decent size clutches.

I hear that Nature's Spirit incubators are really nice, supposedly they are fairly on the large side. I can't say that for certain, that would be why I'm hear asking. I don't mind spending a bit of money, I really don't want to build something, that is really not my best department.
