    BP let mouse escape 3x

    Hi everyone,
I am new to BP's, have had one for about 9 months. My BP is about two feet long and has never missed his food target before. In fact, he's never gone more than 5 seconds before striking, and never missed. Today, he wrapped up the mouse quickly, it struggled and escaped. This happened two more times. He was very aggressive getting him out of his cage today. After the attempted feeding, I noticed a slight cloudiness in his eyes....if he was close to shedding would this effect his feeding accuracy?
    Thanks,
    Jack

Being in shed could affect his accuracy a bit. It really depends on the snake. Some are great feeders during shed, others not so much.

It would totally affect it. When they are cloudy they do not see well if at all. Now granted they don't use their eyes that much....more their heat sensors. I always prekill while in shed as it is easier for them.

Lets just say it has advanced to ....way too much to list
