clutch 1 of 2 on the ground ( finally)
out of the 3 I breed this season the one I find around eggs wasone I was not sure if she even was gravid I never felt eggs and such. Bu I was surpised with 6 large feritle eggs. and to make it even more interesting is this one clutch is possible double sire. The 2 males I placed with here was my about 500 gram butter and a 1000 gram pastel I had gotten and just happen to be in out of QT and isaid what theheck see if I get lucky. well I know in 55 days.
I do have a question though one egg is pushing against the top of the tub I using wil lthis creat a problem I need ot consider trying to fix. The 12 quart tub and it not got much medium in ther and on a n egg grate sinc the tub I had does not fit the eggs were they were stuck together.
pic later today once I get home and recharge the batteries ( dang things were dead )

If condensation builds up on the lid it could be an issue.

yeah figured while i was out at walmart gettign stuff for mom and helping a friend puck up meds I look at thetubs.. ( cause they never got the 41 qt tub in stock in lower delaware.) I grab 2 tall tubs and will be placing the press and seal on them later today after pics. was looking at a tub that had a hindge lid and a type of rubber gasket so when shut it hold the humidity in, not sure if be much of a problem since I got the entire incubator sitting about 89degrees and the humidity sit about 87%. I also placing the vermiculite in thetub and setting hte egg on top the light diffuser pieces. worked great for my last time. so we will have to see.what nice about this one is ican see into the tubs without needing to open the open as often.
