Mexican Beaded Lizard
Hey everyone.
I'm looking for a good care sheet for Mexican Beaded Lizards (Heloderma Horridum). If someone could point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it big time.
I tried using google but the info you get from the various sites is pretty... Contradictory to eachother.
Thanks

Thanks alot, much appreciated. But I'm Swedish, way different time zones, would be more convenient with a homepage or an e-mail adress if you know it?
Thanks!

Re: Mexican Beaded Lizard
Thanks for the link del, but as all the other pages I've found it contains little about the husbandry itself. It seems like you have to go around asking people that actually keep these animals, so if you know someone feel free to point me in the right direction.

Take a look at Steve Angeli's website:

He's a great guy as well...

Re: Mexican Beaded Lizard
I shot him an e-mail like 30 minutes ago, didn't even take 5 minutes for him to respond with a telephone number, seems like a great guy indeed!
Do you keep Horridums David?

Re: Mexican Beaded Lizard
I don't; unfortunately, I can't keep them in AZ. I had a table next to him at Anaheim a couple years back. Steve was awesome, we had a great time. I learned quite a bit and laughed a lot as well.

Re: Mexican Beaded Lizard
You might try the Oklahoma city zoo page, The keepers there are quite successful..
