    Re: Eating on Bedding

You can. I don't think there's a real concern about ingesting some of the bedding. I do think there's a slight concern over some getting stuck in her mouth, but that can be removed with tweezers if necessary. Most people should have absolutely no problem.

It's perfectly acceptable. Even if, by chance, they ingest a couple pieces of aspen they should be absolutely fine.

its perfectly fine to feed them on that, if they eat a little bit it wont be a problem they can digest bone no problem a little bit of aspen wont be anything

    Re: Eating on Bedding

when we used substrate such as aspen we put down a paper towel prior to feeding them. We had quite a few missed strikes and a mouthful of substrate...so instead of picking it out.....we just put down the papertowels and it worked awesome.

    Re: Eating on Bedding

I used to feed my snakes in a different tub, but now just feed them in their tub. I might move some of the aspen away to sort of clear out a spot for them to eat from but I don't think its a big deal.
