    Confusion on the ghost/hypo gene

I have a het yellow ghost. I know that there are all different kinds of "ghosts" (yellow, orange, reg ghost, etc). Are all of these genes just slight variations of the same gene, like high white pieds and low white or high contrast albino and reg albino? So i guess im asking if I have to buy a yellow ghost female or if I can still obtain a ghost by breeding my yellow ghost to an orange ghost or some other ghost. Or would I just come out with a double het yellow and orange ghost?

Does anyone know any that are 100% compatible or any that are not?

Well, butterscotch and orange are 100% compatible, in fact I believe that MOST lines are compatible but I can't remember which lines are not. I only have the butterscotch line myself.
