Anyone from the Ft. Knox, KY area???

So my hubby is applying for several military jobs (he's retired) in the Ft. Knox area. From the research I have done so far I am pretty excited...at least I will have 4 seasons....wooohoooo. Anyone there or near there that can tell me about KY?

we did a street bike trip up to the smokey mountains and it was amazing. This would put us closer to my family. Plus I like the idea of having 4 seasons instead of hot, hotter, and hottest with rattlesnakes. lol
