recently my rats have developed scabs on their ears, smome worse then others and some not at all. They sort of resemble pimples. I have read that it might be scaropic mites or high protien. I just finished my first bag of lab diet 5001 (23% protien) and have since switched to mazuri 6f. But my question is if thaat dosent clear it up and it is mites, how do i treat the mites without poisoning my snakes??
