Proper introduction / life story LOL! LONG

    Hi everyone,
My name is Stephanie. I finally have some time to introduce myself! I'm a jack of all trades (kinda), And an animal nut for sure. I'm new to Ball Pythons, but not to snakes. I had a red tail boa for about 3 yrs when I was younger. Her name was gypsy, and I still miss her to this day. My best friend offered a price I couldn't turn down at the time, and then she sold her without my knowledge. If I knew she was not going to keep her, I wouldn't of sold her. If I could find her today, I would buy her back in a heartbeat, but that was probably 12 yrs ago.

Anyways, I raise/ Show American Bulldogs, break & train horses, and design web pages. Oh yeah and work a full time job. I also have over 90 African Cichlid fish. I love creating things, and studying genetics! I know from experience that breeding animals is not a get rich scheme. LOL Nothing with animals is. You have to do it for the love. If you break even in the end you did good.

A lot of people look at my dogs web site and say wow. We could sell these puppies for $800-1500. This is a money maker for sure. They don't think to subtract the 3 couches the mom ate, 2 windows she went through, dad got the coffee table, vet, food, cost to travel 4 shows ect............ AND the time to separate .3 80-120lb dogs that don't get along and all live inside. In the end its all worth it! I love them, and produced some good stuff with a lot of happy families! That's what keeps someone going! Not the $ because usually there is none LOL

I got some ball pythons because my boyfriend wanted a snake. At first I tried to talk him into a red tail. He did not want me alone with a 12 ft snake down the road. I'm a little shy of 100lbs, so I agreed it wouldn't be the best choice. He got us both a ball. Cleo .1 jungle pastel and Mars 1. orange ghost. I'm hooked. They are great. I want to get into breeding them to further study the genetics. They are both 09's so I realize that it will be awhile. I find the genetics of ball pythons to be extremely interesting with all of the morphs. I am going to the Columbus, Oh show this weekend to look for a het Pied pr. We really want a pied, but were too cheap to buy one. Were on the long plan to create our own. I am looking forward to learning a lot from this message board!
Here are some pics of the family!!

Welcome!! Does that horse have blue eyes?? Oh how I love horses with blue eyes! Years ago I spent a summer in TN with family. We went to an auction and I came back with a beautiful black and white paint gelding. He had the most amazing blue eyes. I was not able to bring him back north with me but for a good 5 months he was my baby while I was there. He took up residence with my sisters morgans when I left.

You should enjoy this forum very much. Its full of friendly and informative people.
