i had an interesting conversation with my hubby yesterday about terrarium setup & what i ordered this month. all this time he's shown disinterest in the whole process but yesterday as i was saying what i have to do as far as setup he was asking questions. i was talking about getting a temp gun & he yelled out "mommy's getting a gun!" which sparked a not so favorable reaction from my 8 yr old daughter. so i had to calm her down then, explain to both of them what a temp gun does. he didnt know what a U.T.H was so i had to explain that & what it does. he also thought the thermostat read temps so i had to straighten him out on the function of a thermostat & explain why i need a seperate temp/humidity monitoring device. as i was explaining the placement of said device i mentioned the word "substrate" which sparked the question "whats substrate?"
he's so clueless, but i love him none-the-less.
overall it was a good day for me, finally having a meaningful conversation about what i'm doing and actually have him respond to it with curiosity...
he says he'll never feed for me & made it clear that i better not leave for an extended length of time but all is well cuz i rarely get out of the house anyways except for church on sundays & the occasional church function & our twice monthly grocery shopping trips.
wait... i guess i do get out a bit lol.
