I've got a hide on the warm side (ontop of uth) built out of rocks with a rock floor. What's a good floor temp so that I don't cook the little guy?

Hi,

Your snake shouldn't be able to get to temps over 95f if you can arrange it.

Inside the hide I would shoot for 90-93f.

How are you controling the UTH?

Make sure the rocks can't be moved.
I'm envisioning a rock cluster that a snake could push apart and get crushed by the rocks

Definitely use a t-stat for the UTH.

I like my belly heat at 90 to 92, lol, I should say my snakes like it at those temps
