I breed asf and mice for my ball pythons for a few years. I read, if you have a problem feeder try asf's, ball pythons love them being one of their food source in the wild. I have around 50 balls and when the eggs start hatching, many more. most of my balls would rather have a mouse than a soft fur. being, if I put a soft fur in wait awhile and the snake doesn't eat, I remove the soft fur and replace it with a mouse and bam, gone. I do have some balls that will do just the opposite. and some will eat what ever I put in. but most want mice over asf. I start my hatchlings out on asf's and move to mice fast for the ones I'm selling. Harder to sell a hatchling that will only take soft furs. the ones I hold back I keep on asf's longer but most seem to like the mice better when I offer them. this is what I noticed over the last 2 years, I'm wondering if anyone experienced this or some thing different? Thanks Don
