Question Your opinion, How much is this worth?

So Ive got a few clutches of eggs hatching this season and there is one clutch that is a joint project with a close friend. The clutch with this friend has an excellent chance of producing an Ivory 100% Het-Pied( that is going to be to awesome). If this animal was to be sold Id like to know what all the good people here on BP think its worth. Id even like to get some comments from people, if it were your animal, would would you do keep it or sell it. Thanks for all your help, Eyeball

I would keep it being a yb nut and after having seen a yb pied.

    This is on kingsnake:

My question is why the ivory het pied unless it is only to produce yellowbelly pieds.

And ivory pied would be a white on white animal, and would kind of defeat the purpose of the pied gene.

An Ivory pied would make great combos with a pastel het pied, or just about any co-dom het pied.

I can imagine a yellowbelly pinstripe pied and a few others I could make with a powerful breeder like an Ivory pied

No it wouldnt. Ivorys are not white. The white on a pied is stark white. As white as it gets. An ivory is a creamy white with a bit of color on the spine and the head. I think an ivory pied would look cool. Like it was playing tricks on your eyes with clean color and then the ivory looking color. It would still be genetic powerhouse when it came to breeding. Imagine putting an ivory pied to a spector het pied down the road. Super stripe pied. Bet you didnt think of that.

Re: Your opinion, How much is this worth?

well, if I knew jack about genetics besides a few co-dom morphs, I might think it was worth it.

But with my minimal knowledge, it just doesn't make sense to me.

If anyone does produce one, I'd still like to see it.

Re: Your opinion, How much is this worth?

It's similar to the Ivory clown project I'm working on.

Bred to a clown it will make all yellow belly clowns.
It may not be THE most beautiful snake but what it will make is truly beautiful.

With those het pieds you have I'd think you'd die for an Ivory pied
All yellow bellies and half of those (by odds) would be pieds and the rest would be 100% het for pied.

    Now that's a powerful breeder

I've spent thousands on my fish hobby alone its a little scary thinking about how much I'll be spending now that I'm getting into the world of herps.
