    new rat grow out rack....

Well finally got my grow out rack somewhat done….still missing the top level that will hold the water container, but at least it’s now usable. Hopefully this weekend I’ll get that welded up and painted. The entire rack is made with 2cm square steel tubing and each level is removable.

This rack can hold roughly 50 adults per level or 100 weaners/smalls, at the moment it’s holding close to 200 rats.

    Thanks for looking!

they look very crowded. My transport bins look like that and they are vented out the sides and top. You must keep the room pretty cool to keep them from getting over heated.

do you have any problems with the tubs sagging or pulling them out when loaded with rats?

no sagging at all, the bottoms of the tubs are slightly ribbed so that helps alot.

not to mention the plastic is about 4mm thick.
