    Questions about expanded pvc

If i get the sheets cut locally, can i assemble the rack myself at home with standard wood screws and an electric drill or are their special tools needed for pvc? Are there problems with using normal tools, screws, etc..

I use a staple gun.. Screws are way over kill and will split the pvc..
