    Re: Genetic Stripe Combos

    Thanks for all the links!

I really liked a picture I saw of an anerythristic striped corn years ago so have long been waiting to see the axanthic striped ball bit don’t recall finding a picture of one yet. I know I saw double het VPI axanthic stripe for sale last year and thought I read a post indicating maybe even the double homozygous had been made already. Anyone know where we are on axanthic stripe?

I've got a possible het project working slowly toward albino stripe but would be tempted to change it to a long shot snow stripe project if I could get the axanthic gene worked in too.

    Re: Genetic Stripe Combos

This is a Genetic Stripe Het Red Axanthic. I hope to produce more of them in 2010.

He was a little fatty when he was born!

Him beside a regular genetic stripe

Him with his sister who is a Het Red Axanthic that is possible het Genetic Stripe.

Hopefully I'll hit the odds this year with more of them! Atleast I have my male.

    Corey

    Re: Genetic Stripe Combos

    Very nice Corey, congrats!

Now someone breed one of those ghost stripes to a snow or a ghost pied to a snow so there will be possible quadruple het males in 3 to 4 years when I get my possible possible double het girls grown up.
