    First Ever BP Lock!

I was going to wait to breed this girl until her son was ready to go, so that I could try to prove out the two as (Pastel) het Pieds, but I got impatient! A nice low pressure system came through, I put them together, and a couple hours later they were locked! This is my first time attempting to breed Ball Pythons, so I'm super excited! The male is my Mojave that I think may be a Cinnamon Mojave...so I guess the clutch of my dreams with this pairing would contain both Pastaves and Pewters that ended up being heterozygous for the Pied gene, haha. A guy can dream! Anywho, here are some pictures!

    Cheers,
    -Matt

Congrats! I still haven't had any luck with our females yet this year. Always next year I suppose.

Thanks you! I was originally trying to pair this guy with a Dinker female, but she wanted absolutely nothing to do with him--he didn't show any interest either really. I guess switching up pairs really can make all the difference. Good luck late this season or next though!

    Cheers,
    -Matt

3 days later, and they locked right away. I'm super happy!

I don't think I'd be able to wait either with that male! Looks like they really hit it off..

Haha, thanks! Yeah, they seem to have good chemistry . The other girl I tried to pair him with is very prude in comparison, lol.
