Re: Got eggs a few weeks back
Very nice, congrats on the future double hets for snow (or blizzard).
I have 1.1 snows and really like them.

Wow! That's a lot of eggs! I'm not familiar with corns at all, but I would really love one as a "display" animal in my living room. Not sure if it's true, but I think they are a good snake for that. It's so weird that a skinny snake would have so many eggs and a big fat ball has about half that clutch if you're lucky!
Congrats on the eggs!!!

Re: Got eggs a few weeks back
Ok so tonight I don't know why but I had a weird feeling about my eggs... I opened the container and about 6 of them had a lot of mold on them. This didn't happen last year. How can I prevent this and will the eggs be fine if I wipe them off??

Re: Got eggs a few weeks back
Sometimes they just get mold. You can try wiping it off. I know that some people have tried swabbing listerine on the affected area with some success. Best thing is to just leave them be. If you can get them out without damaging other eggs you can, but in general, mold won't spread to healthy eggs.

Thanks for your help. Are these eggs goners? Or will they survive if I clean it off?

Re: Got eggs a few weeks back
Hi,
It's definately worth cleaning them off and giving them a chance.
I would try and candle them again though just to check they still have healthy veins.
It's amazing how resiliant they can be - these two hatched fine.
