    Question Normal or Yellowbelly?

This fella was sold to me as a Normal het. Albino. As I've been studying up on the different morphs, however, he seems to display a lot of the characteristics of a yellowbelly, the flames on the side, the checkered pattern on the belly, the lighter colouring ..... What do you bp entusiasts think? Normal or Yellowbelly?

Not a yellow belly - I don't see any checkering on the side scutes.

    Here's a YB belly:

Thanks for the feedback. I'll just look forward to pairing him up with my son's female het albino then and hopefully we'll get some nice albinos next season.

    Re: Normal or Yellowbelly?

A good YB looks drastically different than a normal, everyone thnks of them as a subtle morph, but in my eyes they far from similar. I could pick a YB out of a pile of normals with no issue. I really wish I had good pictures of my female, she is an Orangebelly and wow is she distinctly different.

Good luck with the Het Albino x Het Albino.

    Re: Normal or Yellowbelly?

I do not think of YBs as subtle either, once you see a few there is no mistaking them.

Good luck on the albino project.
