My rescue finally let me hold him, and he was doing the exact same thing, just squishing my shoulder, not going anywhere...
then what do you know, tightly coiling around my arm/neck and he's trying to eat me. I thought we were bonding. I thought wrong.

Nor would I, I stopped him every time he tried to go around my neck, especially after him eating my ear for a bit.
