What to fill my empty cages with?
Well now that ting is gone I am wondering what to put in those two empty cages. So I thought I'd let everyone help me decide if they wanted. I'd love to know what people thought.
I am going to get a rack in the near future regardless to better keep my BP and future BP's better heated.
Currently unless I have a UTH under both sides one falls to the low 70's or upper 60's. It's this reason that I thought corns would do well. Especially if I used a larger UTH then I needed so more of the cage got heated in hopes that it would carry over to raise the cool spots.
Edit: Opera does infact have two thermostat controlled UTH's as it stands. a rack would just mean I didn't have to heat both sides as I understand it

Re: What to fill my empty cages with?
I voted to put the money towards properly setting up what you have and what you seemingly plan to get in the future... that's ball pythons. A rack can be costly investment, but when done and set-up properly, will give you plenty of room to add more ball pythons.
I would say get corn snakes if you genuinely like them and genuinely want to work with them as a species. Don't just get them because you want to fill a couple of empty tanks... Do what I did, sell those empty tanks and use the money towards more ball pythons. That's how I'm getting my new het clown female.

I love corn snakes. They are in my top 5 colubrids. I really wanna own one, two or three. I worry my cages may not be right. I worry the temps might not be okay.
I don't wanna focus Just on BP's. But I would like 2 or 3 more.
I really really want some colubrids and boas, and morelia though. and a 41 qt rack could service as a grow up cage for a conda which is high on my DO WANT list.
Thanks for the reply keep them comin. I don't want there to be a question that I don't just wanna keep BP's.

Oh and before I forget.
My BP has two UTH's and two thermostats. She has great temps I check 3 times a day!! So she is well cared for. I would NEVER put her care at risk
Much love for the flyers polish.

Hmm. I always like answering these kinda of questions. Have you ever considered expanding your horrizons a little? I mean instead of building up your snake collection, maybe start to get into frogs or lizards?
Honestly, Pacman frogs are pretty cool, and green tree frogs are nize if you feel like setting up a wild enclosure. Green tree frogs are usually very lazy but building a nice tank for them and having 2-3 in the same tank can be quite awesome.
Theres always tarantulas or scorpions also. A nice emperor scorpion is a fun animal to experience. I know they arn't really something you can play around with, but with proper care and feeding you can get these things to reach amazing sizes. Also, I hear the breeding process is awesome to experience.
Firebelly toads are pretty cool too.

I'm not a bug guy. ON a personal level
I have considered Rhac gecko's Gargoyles specifically. I like lizards and turtles alot. But UV light would be to much to control. Rhac geckos are very easy to care for. So I like them.
Right now I am mostly interested in adding snakes.
