Re: Another is this a morph poll
Lol I was actually talking about a sandwich that dr del likes.. I believe its a lesser. That was going to be my guess anyway (had I typed it). I was reluctant to say butter because Im biased and compare all butters to my own. It just didnt look buttery enough. Very nice lesser though

In spite of its father being a lesser platinum?
Mind you, I believe both are the same mutation from different founding animals. (Though I prefer calling them butter over lesser, since lesser has negative implications...)

Hi,
It's worse than you think Russ - the lesser I have is supposedly an F2 from Noahs Platinum female in Africa.
So it is from a different animal again than the lessers and butters over there.

Yet I'm still unconvinced any one of those lines is a different mutations from the others. (Can't forget EBN's lesser line if you want to throw a 4th into the mix.)

Nothing to do with the mutation, just the fact that you're calling the animal "lesser" sounds a bit demeaning to a beautiful mutation in my opinion. Yes I know they were named that because the platinum father looked "better," I just don't like calling any of my animals "lesser."

Agreed IMO only the top 2% of lessers look differant enough (more green) to even tell the differance, or maybe people are breeding both and dont know what they are so we are getting some of both. My butter and a friends lesser look like they could have come from the same parents.... But I will have to say good examples of both morphs as adults its easier to see why people still consider them differant morphs. Does anyone know if a butter x woma produces similar offspring to the lesser x woma?? I have been very curious to know as I have a male butter and if thats the case I need to find a higgen gene woma female.

Hey two for two alright. It's a Mojave Butter. I thought it was a morph for dummies question because it was a Mojave so of course it's a morph, but when I read a post in one of the pictures it really looks like a Mojave Butter.
The snake is a self adoring creature humility is not feature.
