    Embarrassing and just plain sad..

So i was browsing on the natgeo website and came across pictures of a few species of snakes. And low and behold, they incorrectly identified an anaconda. The picture clearly shows a yellow anaconda when they state it to be a green. You can tell from the yellow coloring beneath the heavily spotted body. Green anacondas have less spots and are located more on the sides of the snake opposed to the yellow anaconda which mainly has spots on its back which continue onto the side.

    Take a look.

    At least it's an Anaconda.
I love the sites/articles that show Corns, Balls, Carpets etc. while spieling the horrors of the man-eating Burms

The general populus won't know the difference. Only a herper would be able to tell. At least they got the species correct!

That is a green anaconda just a young one that is why it looks the way it does with lots of color.

So send them a polite email, instead of trashing them on a site they'll never see or care about.
