Dumeril's boa breeders
Anyone know of any Dumeril's boa breeders or anyone selling Dumeril's that will attend any of these shows?: Anaheim NARBC, San Diego Reptile Super Show, Tucson Reptile Show, Las Vegas Expo, or the Phoenix Reptile Expo?
I'm really into Dumeril's.. I miss my girl so much that it has lead me to buy one sometime this year. Female preferrably, just because of their big size. I wouldn't mind breeding them either

Re: Dumeril's boa breeders
I bred them for a few years. They are great little boas. However, I had one female that was crazy inside her enclosure. Nothing could get inside without her going into a frenzy. A rat didn't stand a chance, neither did a hand, nor a hook, nor any number of male Dumeril's. She got so bad, I had to remove her to put her into the male's enclosure or she'd tear up the male during mating.
Once she was taken out of her enclosure, she was a *****cat, but talk about agressive when she was in her enclosure.
As far as an answer, no I don't know anyone, but I'm sure you'll be able to find any number of great looking Dumeril's at the show.
Good Luck!

This urge for a Dumeril's is just insane. I miss my girl so much, I find myself crazy for selling her and my mom was right.. I was gonna miss her. They are awesome boas and do very good with handling (from my experience and from what I've read).

Thanks Jim! My female was sort of the same way. She wasn't extremely aggressive, but disliked being touched in her enclosure. If you bothered her enough she'd snap, but normally she'd have a pretty good attitude. Outside of her enclosure she was much calmer and nicer than my BPs by far (besides my largest girl).

I started a thread about this a while back and got 0 replies. Hopefully we can find some this round.
My small and local shows always tend to have some for sale, so I'm sure there will be Dums at the big shows. I also have a friend trying to sell her beautiful Dums. Pm me if you want her info! The snake is a year or two old though.

I don't know of any specific breeders. I usually browse the classifieds at Kingsnake...
