What to feed my ball python?

So im new to having a ball python and im wondering when I should move up in size of the feed. I am currently feeding him pinkies but it seems like it is too small for him. I would say his head is a little smaller than a quarter. How long do I keep feeding him pinkies?

his food should be just as wide, or a little wider than the thickest part of its body. Or 10-15% of your snakes body weight.
