It would be cheaper to get a male Spider and a Female pastel.

Idk but I like him. Nice blushing not to yellow so he's not a special kind of pastel like a lemon or anything, but he does have alittle bit of yellow left. If that was a female I would buy her.

Re: quality of this yellow pastel?
Well that pastel is 1000g the seller said, which means he is at least 1 year old. Remember Pastels do brown out some. He looks good for his age I think. He is like the spitting image of mine. Also those pics seem to be dark.
This is what mine used to look like, now he looks JUST like the one in the pic of the seller, kinda weird

Recent Pic. The bright Yellow turned washed out. I like the look.

So.... if wanting to make bees. or doing any breeding, i would recomend getting a female first they take much longer to mature. Ps That is a nice looking pastel for 1kilo

I noticed the prices for a male spider or male pastel were about the same at a local reptile show why would they be different if comparing to females (all else equal)

I was planning on picking up a breeding normal female and then selling the norm/past clutch to fund a breeding sized female.
