If I get past playin those dang fb apps..lol.. I do stick in a quote. FB addict, but I dont post like some tweets I have seen. Right there with you, if I am not involved and dont really need to know what they are doing all day, I dont care. lol

BG, I don't see the point either. Who cares what someone is doing unless it's not you doing it? I honestly don't really see the point in wanting to know what someone is doing all day, it would waste my time greatly. I also wouldn't want people knowing what I'm doing, kind of stalkerish, right? I don't really care to know what other people are doing unless I'm involved, kind of like when I volunteer at the sanctuary I don't care what other people are doing unless I'm involved in it and helping them out. Other than that I just let the other volunteers do what they need to do and I'll do what I have to.

Now Facebook is a completely different story.

tweeting-facbooking and myspace is all stupid, it creeps me out my aunt has a face book lol my dumb, brother laid out of school and actually tweeted it and got busted. so yea, ocasionaly check myspace, to see if any new band info

We don't tweet. We don't FB. We don't Myspace... It's all stupid. It's this weird "communicating but not communicating" system, we're not huge fans of it.

The only thing I would see twitter good for is a reminder for yourself. Like when you have those really good ideas, but you don't have a pen and paper around you. Since everything is digital anyways... You can make your grocery list on twitter!

I disliked the idea of Twitter quite a lot, but some folks convinced me that using it would help my business. Well, they were right. People do follow my business tweets, and I can throw up information quickly. Any advertising helps.

As for my personal Twitter, the only thing I've done with it is the occasional 'yay' or 'boo' for big events, and "Oh noes, someone was wrong on the innernets!" type things. Mostly it just sits there. If I have something to say, it generally takes me more than 150 characters. ^_^

So, yeah. MySpace, FaceBook, LiveJournal, Twitter, and I think a bunch of other stuff too, I don't keep close track...but I have them all, and sometimes they prove to be useful.
The biggest problem on the internet is attracting attention. If you have a business, it's HARD to get people to click that link. So, the more exposure you can get, the better. Every bit helps.

I have a Twitter, Myspace, and Facebook. I registed for my twitter, found it useless and havent been on it since. Myspace I check like once a week and Facebook im on religiously. I guess thats what you get for being a college drop out with no job at 20 years old living with your father.. Trust me, I know im a loser.

Like BG said, he can understand it for bizz. BG may even do it in the future, but only for bizz. There's no way Big Gunns could let people know where he's at though. Can you imagine the pandemonium that would cause?

I dont tweet but I have an account to follow people involved with sports media to get updates and such for baseball and football for fantasy leagues.

Only been on Twitter once to read something Joe Rogan put up, never been back, find it stupid. Hooked on FB though, mostly for putting up vids of me doing vocals, or pet pics.
