not locking anymore
Hello ive been searching for the answer on here havent found it so here goes, i just warmed my temps up about a week ago and am wondering if i screwed up as i havent gotten anymore locks out of the two girls im breeding since about a week after the warm up , i have had about 6-8 locks per each one of them, some of those locks lasted at least 24 hours maybe more so my question is, did i warm up too soon or are they just done with the male? im still going to rotate him through but there not even interested anymore, and i checked him hes still got sperm plugs, one of the two female just had possible her pre ovulation shed but i figured her follicles would be bigger than they seem about the size of a marble hard to judge,so it just might be a shed and both of them have been of feed since mid january niether have lost uch weight.also what are the signs of a female whos reabsorbing her follicles? any tips or help would be appreciated, sorry im just impatient!!!

Re: not locking anymore
Pull the males for a few days and reintroduce them. Sometimes this turns the girls and they will accept the males again.
Good Luck!

Re: not locking anymore
I had a girl stop locking on me for awhile. I thought she was done with him and left her alone for a few weeks. I put the male in with her last week and they were locked within three hours.
I can't really answer your questions, I've been wondering about a lot of them myself.

Re: not locking anymore
I've have seen that some pairs breed every pairing. Then I have pairs that seem to lock like every third time. I'd had some last year just quit locking for 2 months.. then low and behold they just started back up..
Keep pairing them up and don't give up..
