    RI progress

some of u have read my previous threads about my normal female having this RI forever that just wont go away. well i just gave her the 6th shot of amikacin and she sounds a lot better. she sounded like a duck when i stopped using oral baytril. the vet gave me a good amount this time so im going to be giving her shots for a long time and i hope it does not come back...again.

How does she keep getting it? Are your temps to low?

the temps are fine but the meds i was prescribed would almost knock it out but it would come back before i could get in to get more. the culture took a while and oral baytril was supposed to work but did nothing. amikacin injections worked the best so i have a nice big supply and will be giving shots until its gone. im not even half way thru and shes showing almost no signs

    That's great news!

Let's hope she's nearly rid of it once and for all!
