Ball's and there sense of smell!

So i was around our pet store today so we picked up a mouse. And was just gonna feed him tomorrow. Since that would make 5 days. Well i had to run to bathroom REALLY bad So i set the mouse in the room on the dresser. Snake tub is in the dresser where drawers used to be

Came out went to open tub to check temps fingers were over edge of tub. Yea some reason he thought i was a mouse and went for my finger. I moved em in time and just went ahead and threw the mouse in there. Soon as he seen the mouse he took it.

So im just thinking of feeding every 4 days cuz he seems to always be hungry or unless im not feeding him enough

Babies are normally ferocious feeders. If they can smell the rodent, chances are they will go in to feed mode very quickly.

Mistaken identity is usually when you get tagged. I usually get nailed trying to drop the rat in the tub. Last week a snake nailed me causing the rat to get away and run around the snake room

Well i had the mouse like right next to tub. I was just opening the lid to check temps and my fingers was on the inside and he went for them. Then i pulled em out and he just stared at me lol so i dropped mouse in and like 20 secs later he grabbed it. My hands would of smelled like the mouse cuz i did handle it so...
