okay kool. so ill give her one at a time and see how that works out. the guy i bought her off of said he fed her about 4 mice every 11 days. id like to move her on up to large rats. just because its easier. and i think it will be better for her

    Re: New Pet

I agree and every 11 days is too long to wait. I feed on a 7 day schedule.....let me tell you on day 6 they are ready. I forgot how big you said she was.....I can tell you one of mine is a little over 500 grams she typically will take 1 jumbo mouse (38 to 48 grams) and 1 adult (15 to 20 grams) every 7 days. But with switching to rats will be a little cheaper as you do not have to feed as many....plus they are bigger and feeding one rat as opposed to 2 or 3 mice is a little easier on their digestive system.

It is brobably his snake. In ball pythons there are many mophs (kind of like breeds of dogs) that come from the wild and are captive bred. That one is a Piebald which are selling for 1,000-1,400 right know. There is a lot of information around here so you might aswell start learning.

Definitely give her a rat then! That is a pretty big snake to just be eating mice. One rat would be much easier for you and her.

Congrats on getting a BP and welcome to BP.net. My advice: Get ready to spend many, many hours on this site. TONS of good information and helpful people who know and care about BP's. BP.net got me through my first year of ownership and was THE best resource.
