If you do feed in a separate enclosure, at least wait until he gets it all the way down and resets his jaw. Once they start moving around, you should be ok. Don't just pick him up. try to scoop him up as gently as possible with both hands to support as much of his body as possible, so you don't put too much pressure on his stomach, then immediately place him back in his enclosure, and try to leave him alone for about 24-48 hours, unless you absolutely need to move him for cleaning up pee or something...

Re: My first bp!!!
I second waiting a week before feeding him. You are more likely to have a successful feeding if you wait the week and then attempt.
Also, the whole "feeding in the cage will make your snake think its feeding time all the time" is nonsense. As long as you open the cage more often then to feed the snake (which you should be doing anyway) the snake should make no "association" between opening the enclosure and feeding time. You should be doing daily maintenance, filling or cleaning the water bowl, spot cleaning, regularly handling the snake. These should all be separate occurrences from feeding time.

Very very true.
That 1 week of not feeding/handling your snake is so hard lol. It is very tempting wanting to hold your new snake, just don't give in. Let your snake settle
