    Exclamation A Little Confused

Ok I have a pastel female who I have been breeding with my platinum male since October 1st. She has been off of food since then as well. On December 18th she shed. I thought it was her pre ovulation shed but I havent noticed an ovulation yet. She has yet to shed again or lay eggs and I dont think she has ovulated which makes me a bit concerned because after she shed she wanted nothing to do with the platinum. About 2 weeks ago I put the platinum back in with her since she hasnt laid or ovulated and they locked a couple times. I palpated her and to be honest I dont know what im feeling, I feel what I think are marble sized folicles but there seems to be too many to be that. So my question is, with that information did my pastel absorb her eggs? or was the shed in december just a fluke that had nothing to do with breeding? I assumed it was breeding related because she hasnt eaten since october but I could be wrong. Any help would be awesome because I have a normal female who just shed for the first time that I have been pairing my platinum with as well so I dont want to waste to much time focusing the male on just one or the other but I hope I didnt miss anything with my pastel.

    Thanks.

    Re: A Little Confused

A lesser is not the same as a platinum.

The general advice is to keep pairing until you see an ovulation. I'd just keep alternating the male between the 2, and of course give him some days to himself as well.
