Re: Warocker's Wife here's the pores shots..

The photos need to be really clear in order to tell if there are any pores or not. I think maybe possibly I see one area on the harley that might have pores, but really it is impossible to tell much without nice clear photos, so that really means nothing at this point. How much does each gecko weigh? If there is no bulge at 25-30 grams you can be pretty sure you have a female.

I weighed them on the 12th of this month, the tiger/dal is 8.8g and the harley is 6.5g.. I know the pics are blurry, I thought my fiance's digi would be better then mine.. they are just point and shoots not much in the way of F-stops or anything like that.. thank you for the help though... I'll keep tryin to get some better pics. Thanks again

Re: Warocker's Wife here's the pores shots..

I think at their current sizes we will need much clearer photos in order to determine anything for sure one way or the other. Sometimes it's even hard to see pores in a clear photo if it isn't taken close up enough.

Re: Warocker's Wife here's the pores shots..

Two words: macro mode. You might still not be able to get good shots, cause like you said, the little buggers are quick, and if they're anything like mine, they wait til you're about to push the button and then leap, but at least in macro mode you've got a chance at it.

Like others said in your other thread, if you're in any doubt as to what the gender of your geckos are, just keep them separate. In another couple of months when they get closer to adult size, you'll be able to tell by the presence or absence of a very obvious hemipenal bulge anyway. Once they reach adult size, cresties are VERY easy to sex.
