good start?
ok so tax return season is among us and like many people here i plan to buy snakes. i dont plan on breeding for a living (i know its not easy and takes a lot of money and time) just for a hobby and pride. but im thinking of getting 2 pastels, 2 mojaves, and 2 yellowbellys, and eventually a spider. so what do u guys think?

Hi,
Well, it depends on what intrests you as a project. I would be more tempted to buy some female morphs and a couple of multi-gene males to get the most bang for your buck as it were.
Possibly make one of the females a visual recessive like pied, clown or axanthic for some really intresting projects in 4 years time with the male offspring from her and your original multigene male.
The pairs you suggested do give you simplicity but they also add years to the plan if your eventual goal is a multigene animal.

Looks good to me if you want pastaves and some supers. I think you should look into multiple females and a single male. That way you can get alot of different combos.
All depends on what you want to do tho. Maybe get a pair of het pieds
