What does Hunt mode look like?

In trying to get my BP to feed, I'm wondering what it is that you all call "hunting mode". My BP right now just has his head sticking out of his hide, which I wonder if that's like an Ambush position or perhaps I'm just reading too much into it.... lol

Well, that means he is just "chilling" or waiting for prey to come by. Hunting mode is when he raises his head above in the air slightly and has a real stressed "S" shape neck. When they strike is so fast, that you usualy dont even have time to react. Is Ironic how and animal so Slugish can strike so fast.

Great videos! When they are hungry, they have their head out like that and they watch everything you do like a hawk and when you open their tank up they come out more and look like they are going to come after you! Just drop a prey in and the snake will tell you in a hurry!

You will often see them pull the back half back and elongate a little, judging distance to prey item. The are totally focused on the prey item
