    After ovulating?

I was just curious will the pair still lock up even after she ovulates or would this be a sign she has ovulated if they stop locking....I started introducing my male het lav in with my female 3 on 3 off since nov 1st and it is like a constant lock the whole time they are together, she is building also. how long should I keep introducing? what if I miss the ovulation shed, do I just keep introducing? ny info would be very appreciated..Thank you.

    Re: After ovulating?

First I've never had a male lock with a female after OVY!. Doens't mean they wont just means I haven't seen it. Now keep pairing them till she ovulates, at some point the male will get tired so keep an eye on him they aren't machines and will ware out. If you miss the ovulation and POS (post ovulation shed) then one day you'll find eggs. But you be able to tell leading up to the Ovulation. She'll bowl wrap, glow, lay on her back, quit eating, quit breeding then just check her every day.. simple as that..

You know Ed, I have only had one girl bowl wrap this season and I've had 3 ovys this month. It must be because I cooled them or something. I recently turned my heat up and since then I have had the one bowl wrapping.

Yep.. some times they will surprise you.. bowl wrapping does the same from them that cooling does. It helps cool their body down during egg production.

good point though there isn't any set in stone rules or schedule that you can go by..
