Question about Spider Super Mojaves...
Forgive my ignorance, but...was just wondering. If one bred a Mojave to a Spider Mojave, there's a one-in-four chance of a Super Mojave. Now...if the Spider patterning was passed on as well, would it be in any way visible? I'm betting not but figured I'd ask.
Then again most Super Mojaves have a sortof greyish haze of markings on their heads, right? So would the unusual Spider markings at least show up there?
Or would the only way to know for sure be through future breedings of that animal?
Thanks in advance to anyone who takes the time to reply.

Re: Question about Spider Super Mojaves...
No one can be sure how morphs will interact until it has been done, and I don't remember hearing about this one.
However, as a general rule, white markings on animals are because there is something preventing any pigmentation on that part of the animal. So, even when combined with another morph, white "should" stay white.
However, as you pointed out, super mojaves aren't quite pure white. So, there is at least some chance the spider pattern would show through, at least on the head. I've also heard that some BELs show faint hints of pattern, like on a snow but much more faint. So you might be able to see the spider pattern on at least some BELs, just very faintly.

I was wondering this too. Someone has probably done it before though.

I have also been wondering how BEL's interact with other morphs...

Re: Question about Spider Super Mojaves...
give it a whirl... You may see the spider pattern in the grey bleed through of a super mojo..... If you cant you would have to breed it out to find out if the spider gene was actually there, make a power house breeder reguardless of the pattern showing up I think mojo spiders are hot
