Re: does she look gravid to you?
LOL I had this same issue buddy. Count down from Jan 6th. Youre gonna be a daddy.
Edit:
Is she refusing the male? Is she still eating. If yes to either then disregard my previous statement. But if both are a no, then I think youre gonna be a daddy. I had mine shed twice within 2 weeks like that too, and ended up with a clutch 40 days later.

Re: does she look gravid to you?
She has not taken a meal and last time I tried to pair them I didnt notice any activity. I read your last thread about this a while ago and was excited when you said you had eggs lol. This is nerve racking lol trying to make sure all is going according to plan. I guess im just gonna keep an eye on her.
Should I be expecting another shed before she lays?

By what Pav said I would think that the shed in january was the pre lay shed.

Re: does she look gravid to you?
Thats what I was thinking at first but it seems like the info I got off Markus Jaynes website suggests differently. I have not noticed her seeking the hot spot yet but some of her other behavior suggests that might have been. But his web site suggests that 28 days after the shed would be the date. Thats why I was thinking maybe there would be one more. Ill keep you guys posted on what happens with her.
Any other input on this wouls be appreciated

No she shouldnt shed again. MArkus Jayne's website is good but confusing at the same time, to me anyway. This hobby has a tendency to not go by the book, as it is wild animals that we are dealing with. They do their own thing. 28 days? Pfft I waited 40 and was ripping my hair out around day 33. I didnt know if I was waiting on an ovulation, or if she was gravid, or what. But now that I went through it, and based solely on my experience so far, if she shed two times within a month, that second shed is the pre lay/post ovulation shed and you missed the ovulation in between that first and second shed.
You could always palpate her, if you feel anything golf ball sized and up, and its solid, then youre definitely waiting on eggs. Regardless, get your bator warmed up...if youre one of the lucky ones and your snake goes off the 28 day rule, you only have a couple days left.
What was the pairing?

If she is gravid its not a good idea to handle her or hold her stretched out like in your pics

Ball Pythons NEVER go by the book, at least not in my experience. My female last season went 60 days from her pre-lay shed to laying eggs. Drove me nuts. She looks gravid to me. I would fire up the 'bator!

Re: does she look gravid to you?
Well apparently this girl does not go by the book at all. This morning I woke up to find 7 eggs scattered about her tub. Now they all look a bit smaller that I was thinking so I dont know if they are slugs or not. Some feel kind of hard and some feel a bit soft and almost like they are filled with liquid. Some of them also have a brownish tint to them. I sure hope she didnt lay 7 slugs.
So after some scrambling today to get things set up they are in the incubator now and im gonna see what happens.
How long should I wait to offer her a meal?

Clean her and her tub and try the next day.
