    Another "OVULATION?" question..

    So here's the pair locked up for the second time of the season on 12/16/09...the first lock was on 11/16/09.

    On 12/11/09 was when I first noticed her taking on this very rounded, just ate a huge meal look. So as you can see, she locked up with him again after she began to round out. She then shed on 12/29/09 and came out of the shed "glowing." She has kept that rounded look and has been "glowing" from then on.

    11/16/09: First lock
    12/11/09: Female began to look very "round"
    12/16/09: Second lock
    12/29/09: Last shed and noticed "glowing"

    And here she is tonight...does it look/sound like she is gravid, if so...what stage of her gestation would it seem that she is in?

    Hi,

    If you feel along her back on the last third of her body does the spine seem raised to you?

    Can you get a pic of her stretched out a bit more - but I wouldn't try and pick her up and dangle her or anything.

    Hi,

    I managed to snag them out of my temp internet files.

    I hope this works as imageshack is playing silly buggers with me at the moment;

    I think those are the right pics.

    Hi,

    They showed up fine when I first opened the thread - I think fauna (the site you hotlinked them from ) just had a little glitch. If you click on the links to the pics on fauna they work again now.

    Feel the last third of her body she should be very hard. Try picking her up and dangling her aft end and you should be able to notice a big difference in body thickness. Trust me its hard to mistake. One day they are normal the next they are fat lol. Also look for the glow(lightening of color). They normally glow before they ovy.
