    keeping paper down

Hey, while my 2 bp's are in QT i keep them in paper towels, the baby male i don't have a problem with but the large female the paper gets all crumbled up, now i noticed on some pics that some newsprint paper are being taped down. would it be safe to use tape or just deal with the paper?
Also i noticed on some pics that the probe is taped on the inside of the tubs, i have mines taped to the flexwatt itself, the temps/humidity are right between the range, i also have a temp scanner(forgot the name) that i check them with daily while changing their waterl and everything seems normal, while on the hotspot when scanned they are 89/91.

    Re: keeping paper down

    Hi,

Unless you are using low tack painters tape it is almost never safe to use tape inside a snakes enclosure - and the low tack stuff probably wouldn't hold the paper down.

For the probe I would use a couple of dabs from a hot glue gun.

I would just learn to live with crumpled paper.
