ack. That's a lot of bugs. When I lived in Kansas we had small semi clear scorpions that were really tiny but packed a huge punch. When you got got by one, YOU KNEW YOU"D BEEN GOT!

    Re: some of my collection

I kind of miss my scorpion collection, but I had like 40 something, I got tired of dealing with crickets so I started a B. Dubia colony, but it was still too time consuming with working 16 hour shifts at the time. I think I will start again with scorpions, but this time i'm not going to range out like I did before.

I had a huge range from:
    A. Australis
    L. QuinQuestriatus
    P. Transvaalicus
    P. Imperator
    B. Jacksoni
    T. Stigmurus
    C. Margaritatus Morenoi

and more that I can't even think of the name.

My favorite of all would be the C. Margaritatus Morenoi, I had the color morph ones, and man they are so beautiful.

I'm looking to start my collection back up, but i'm only looking for 2 species.

    Lychas Scutilus(hard to find)
Tityus Paraensis(hard to find & keep alive & breed)

I know the Paraensis have a species just like them with the long arms, I can't think of the name of them though.
    -Birds-

0.1 - Poicephalus senegalus - Stella (Senegal Parrot)
    0.1- Poicephalus rufiventris - Alexa (Red-bellied Parrot)

i have more emps and a red claw (P. cavimanus) but they are pet holes so i don't have photos of them. i have multiples of all the species but didn't photograph every individual.

i have one female that just had babies and 2 more that should pop any day now so im really excited about the collection right now!!

Yeah it stinks that the emps and red claws are pet holes And they definately are if you have their tanks set up right-lol They are really AWSOME and impressive looking scorpions though Never had any of the red claws, Babycurus jacksoni or Heterometrus spinifer. Those were 3 that I REALLY wanted to get into. But I got out of scorpions sadly before I had the pleasure fo working with any of these 3 I also wanted to get into pedes but they freak my wife out really bad and they were one of the only things she did not want in the house. She never works with any of my animals but they freak her out so much she didn't want me to keep any Out of respect for her I never kept any pedes. Now I just drool over everybody else's scorps and pedes-lol

    LOL!!

the stinger-less emp is the only one i see. i see the red claw every now and again at night. i had a group but now i only have 1. i will never get those again!!

i know what you mean about the pedes. my wife gave up on the insects. she only worries about my snakes for some reason. i guess she figures if she sees an insect, she can squish it. my older brother from hawaii ran out of my animal room when he saw the pedes. they aren't for everyone!! i really want more but they are kinda pricey.

    Re: some of my collection

Im ok with the scorpians and the millipedes but the centipedes............ AAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

You see me run away like a little girl if I see a common house centipede in my house...

Millipedes, silverfish, box elders, ants and just about anything else you might get in your house do not bother me. As a matter of fact, I actually love all mantids. Mantis', stick bugs etc.. Im weird like that

    Cool collection you have there.
