    it was going well but..

so everthing is fianlly figured out untill a homer simpson D'oh came up and tagged me,well this make shift rack is going to hold a milk snake and the bottem is going to hold my RTB and i was going to use a reptitemp for the both, and D=oh milks like it cooler than red tails, som could use the same reptitemp for my bp and boa, since they have almost same temp then use just a dimmer for the milk

I'd personally never use a repti temp again unless you have a room that maintains constant temps year round. But anyway yeah putting a dimmer on the milk snake's UTH should be fine, just do some dry runs before you put them in the rack and let it warm up and sit for a few days with the tubs/substrate in there but no animals. If you keep checking with a temp gun and the temps are steady and within limits then you should be good.
