    Guido Mocafico Photography

If you go on Google, click images, and type in "Guido Mocafino Photography", there will be lots of amazing photos he took of different species of snakes. It looks absolutely fantastic, I think you guys should check it out. This guy has to be my new favorite photographer LOL

Also, you can just type in "Guido Mocafico Snakes" and all the snakes he took pictures of will pop up.

Eh, he's alright. He puts groups of snakes in a black box and takes pictures of them. I think it takes a lot more talent to take good quality pictures of snakes when they aren't trapped in a box and are scurrying around in a light tent or in the wild. He does some pretty cool things with lighting and color combinations though, and his species variety is neat. He clearly has a very nice camera and knows how to use it because some of the pictures almost look too real for a picture.
Also, the fact that he works with so many venomous reptiles means he does have knowledge about them, which is respectable to say the least.

Good photographer? Yes. But an excellent photographer? I think he has the potential to be one.

    Just my opinion.

Yeah I think he could do better, but he does have some ideas. I think he could take a lot of better photos, and since he worked with the venomous species in some of those photos I know he can get some nice photos of venomous species if he really tried, without the black box though. I like his style in photography though, it's pretty different.

This is true, and he gets kudos for that. :]

IMO, a good photog takes the camera out of the equation, in that you forget its a picture and the snake (or whatever) appears as it does in nature, or, as the naked eye would see it.

Sorry if I dont make sense, but I hope you at least get my meaning.

I see where you're getting at. I hope this photographer will take some natural pictures, I bet he'd be pretty good at it because he takes very clear and steady photos.
