Any way to tell if your blood will be red or not while its still a baby? I'm guessing no, but hopefully asking.

If you've got some pictures I can try and help out.

A lot of the reddest adults start out brown as babies though too.

A good indicator would be to see what the animal looked like at around a year or so of age. That could be a pretty good indicator of what's to come.

Pictures of the parents of the animal always help out, colors are usually transferred to the offspring, though they can be variable.
