Lime
I have 2 clay bowls one has a little bit of lime on it. Was wondering if it would be harmful to BP and also if anyone has ran into this. How to get it off and what to use to make it safe thanks

Re: Lime
You mean lime, the caustic stuff? Yeah, that'd be bad for your snake. If you mean lime the fruit, it won't hurt them, but why would you give them limes?

Dunno if thats a joke or not but I'm nearly certain he means lime as in the crystals that oxidize on the sides of water dishes. I'm not sure if it would be safe to use or not for snake dishes but CLR works quite well, I would assume rinsing it repeatedly and thuroughly after is a must if its even safe at all. Other than that I'd say just spring the couple bucks and grab some new dishes.
