Question getting it out of its hideout, bad?

ok so everyone knows how much they love to hide, but i love to handle my ball everyday. he doesnt come out of his hideout until the day before feeding day searching for food. is it stressfull when i get him out of the hideout myself cause he doesnt seem to like it, if it is what can i do to get him out of the hideout without stressing him?

I would say it is probably not what they look forward to. But probably everyone does it. Just make sure to be slow and try not to startle him/her. Think of it like someone disturbing you while you are relaxing. It is much better if they come into your space calmly, then if they come busting in and startle you.

I have a girl that had never tried to bite me and then one day I was in a hurry to go somewhere and one of my friends wanted to see her before I left so I opened her container, kind of in a hurry and just reached down into her tub to scoop her up, and she tagged me. And even after I was holding her you could tell she was still tense and she tried to tag me again while I was holding her. She hasn't tried to bite me since but I always make sure she knows I'm coming.

I always tap on the top so he knows I am there then I lift off the hide slowly and pick him up!
